 Why Video Feeds Matter More Than Ever<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn esports, live video isn\u2019t a bonus\u2014it\u2019s core infrastructure,\u201d says Klas. \u201cRoughly 70\u201380% of all esports bets are placed in-play. If your stream offering is delayed or interrupted by ads while competitors offer low-latency, ad-free streaming, bettors will almost certainly look elsewhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traditional platforms like Twitch weren\u2019t designed for betting. One major issue? The infamous \u201cpurple screen of death\u201d<\/strong>, Twitch\u2019s interstitial banner, completely obscures gameplay. For a bettor mid-wager, that\u2019s not just annoying\u2014it\u2019s a dealbreaker; forcing them to leave the operator’s website to continue an uninterrupted experience on Twitch, losing their attention. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Worse, operators have no control over the ads or content Twitch serves. That can include competitors’ promotions or even messaging that isn\u2019t regulatory compliant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
